Military
After moving back to Aurora Colorado from Madrid, I joined the Colorado Air National Guard 140th TFW, working in Acct & Finance. I was fortunate enough to get a full time job at the unit. I transferred to the 161st AZ ANG in Phoenix in 1979. I then transferred to the DC ANG in 1984 prior to getting married. five year active duty tour with the National Guard Bureau. In 1998 I returned back to Colo and obtained the rank of CMSGT in 1999. After the attacks of Sept 11th, I deployed to the ANG Crisis Action Team center at Andrews AFB for three weeks. I was later mobilized for two years and deployed back to the Washington DC area in January 2002 and left to return to Colo in October 2003. I am retiring from the ANG in May 2005 with 30 yrs of service.
